Saguache Serves Up Plates Full of Gratitude
Saguache’s annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Community Building. The event begins at 5 p.m. and include all the traditional fixings, from turkey to stuffing to potatoes, all top off with some pumpkin pie!
Everyone is invited and as the flyer says, “Don’t bring food, just bring yourself and your family.” The community building is located on San Juan Avenue, adjacent to the Saguache Town Hall
If you miss the community meal, there will still be an opportunity to celebrate the season at the 4th Street Diner in downtown Saguache. On Wednesday, Nov. 26 the popular eatery will serve its regular soup kitchen from 6 – 8 p.m. Then on Thanksgiving, November 27 the Ester and crew will serve up some delicious food, starting at 2 p.m. These meals are free and the community is invited: “bring yourself, bring a friend, or bring a side!”
