Steel Stampede Car Show Saturday In Monte Vista
The 3rd annual Steel Stampede will be on Saturday, July 25, at Chapman Park in Monte Vista. It’s a Car Show and Gearhead Festival presented by Fast Friends.
The Fast Friends group works to develop a culture of brotherhood and inclusiveness among ALL different clubs and individual vehicle owners.
The 2016 Steel Stampede will include live music, an outlaw Pinewood Derby-style race, games, vendors, food, and lots of fun! These events are fun, family-friendly, and open to EVERYONE!
All proceeds from car and vendor registration will go to the Faith Hinkley Veterans Memorial Park being built to honor all San Luis Valley Killed in Action from all wars. Call 719-588-8566 with any questions or suggestions. Support your local FAST FRIENDS!
TEFAP Distribution in Center Today, Saguache Monday
The TEFAP Commodity will be held today, July 28, in Center from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. in Center at the Kiwanis Building at 5th & Broadway. Then on Monday, August 1 the TEFAP Commodity will be at the Saguache Commodity Building, 505 3rd Street from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 pm.
As always, recipients must have proof of income, residency, and photo id. If you are having someone pick up for you, don’t forget to send in your proxy form.
