It’s a time honored tradition in places like Saguache. After all, it’s harvest season and there is no shortage of chilis being grown or popping up on roadside produce stands all throughout the San Luis Valley.
And what are you going to do with all those delicious green and red beauties but fire up the chili-roaster and get that grill a-turning. But there is a technique to it, as demonstrated in this educational video, compliments of the Saguache Volunteer Fire Department. Last week the crew sold these tasty treats as a fundraiser fro the deaprtment, so thanks to everyone who bought some. Enjoy the harvest!
