Last Concealed Carry Class for Year on Saturday
This Saturday, Oct. 29 will be the last Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) course offered this year, so sign up now. Kuma Tactical will be holding the class at 9 a.m at the Saguache County Sheriff Office, 530 5th Street in Saguache, CO 81149.
All classes are taught by current law enforcement and National Rifle Association instructors. The cost for the class is $100 and includes breakfast, all paperwork and your training certificate. All you have to do is show up!
Some of the things covered in the course include stance, proper way to hold your weapon, failure drills and other things to make you more effective. In addition, instructors will review “less then lethal options.” The day will include some range time that usually takes an hour with instructors present. Flu Clinics Offered Thru November 22
The Saguache County Public Health’s flu immunization clinics started this week and will continue through November 22. Clinics are open to the public every Monday at the public health building from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Tuesday s in Center from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Haskins Building at 220 S. Worth Street. The cost is $25 cash or they also accept Mediacre Part B and Medicaid only. The Saguache County Public Health offices are located at 505 3rd Street 719-655-2533.
