Election Today, Speaker Tonight in Saguache Today

It’s a busy Tuesday in Saguache Today with a day of ballot-casting for local residents, a special guest speaker on schedule for the popular Saguache Chamber Speaker Program and a meeting for firefighters and volunteers at the Saguache Fire Station. Do one or do them all, but don’t let the weather stop you from getting out and staying involved in Saguache Today

The Town of Saguache is holding a special election today, Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017 to gauge residents interest in buying the historic Dunn Building located downtown.

Town official bent to citizens’ request that the decision be taken to a vote of the people, at least those registered  to vote in town elections. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Town Hall located at 504 San Juan Avenue in Saguache.

Also this evening, The Saguache Chamber of Commerce will present the next speaker in its popular ongoing program of bringing business stories to you!  

Tonight, Theo Boudreaux, General Manager at Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa  will be the featured speaker.

The evening starts at 6 p.m. at the County Road & Bridge at 305 3rd. St. in Saguache.

If you to want to become involved and volunteer for local fire-fighting efforts, you may consider attending tonight’s meeting.

saguache-fireA reminder that if its the first Tuesday of the month, then it’s meeting time for the Northern Saguache County Fire Protection District. Tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb 7 the district wil hold its reguar meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Saguache Fire Station, located at 330 Denver Avenue in Saguache.
