SLV Corn Maze Open for Fall Fun!

As the nights get cooler and the farms begin to reap their fall harvest, thoughts turn to pumpkin patches and yes, those A-Maze-ing corn fields!

The SLV Corn Maze is located in La Jara, near the Colorado/New Mexico border. It’s open weekends through October 14.

So, if the sights and sounds of Fall have got you thinking about some seasonal fun, then be sure to put a trip to the SLV Corn Maze at the top of your list.

Located in the San Luis Valley about 70 miles south of Saguache Today, the SLV Corn Maze is open for business. While the drive down to La Jara takes you nearly to the Colorado/New Mexico state line, the huge field of fun is worth the trip for the twists and turns of the corn maze, as well as music and movie line-ups to accompany the season. Come and enjoy an outdoor showing of a favorite classic movie in their unique outdoor amphitheater.

The SLV Maze is a great way to get outside and enjoy the best months in the San Luis Valley. Most families can navigate the maze in about an hour.  But there’s’ so much more than that.  Navigating a corn maze can be hard work, so refresh yourself with a cold drink and tasty treat at their concession stand, featuring popcorn and hot chocolate to keep you warm during those cool evenings!

And when its time to carve those jack-o-lanterns, don’t forget about the SLV Corn Maze pumpkin  patch. They have perfect pumpkins for you Halloween decorating needs, take your pick of the patch.  You will find much more value in their pumpkins then you will out of the bin at the box stores. Pumpkins will be ready first weekend of October.

The cost for a day pass is as follows and includes any of the movies, live music on the day’s schedule. Kids 4 and Under: FREE. Everyone else is $5 – what a deal! Group Rates available for groups for 10+ call 719-588-8951.

So remember, not all who wander are lost… unless they are!
